Class One : Foundation
Teacher : Miss Burt
My name is Miss Burt. I teach the Foundation Stage class. I have 15 children in my class aged between 4 to 5 years old. Mrs Warren, who is a Nursery Nurse, works with us too. I have taught at Streatley now for 7 years and really enjoy teaching the youngest children in the school. They have so many great ideas and so much enthusiasm to learn. Each day brings a new and exciting challenge and it is such a reward to see how fast they grow up and learn new skills.

Welcome to Year 5 and 6! We are made up of 25 pupils, 2 teachers called Mrs McGourty and Mrs Love, and Mrs Martin, a Higher Level Teaching Assistant who supports us at different times during the week.
We have been working really hard so far this term. Having completed spy stories, biographies and autobiographies, we are about to begin work on journalistic writing. Careful thought will be given to snappy headlines and reported speech!
Also this term things have been ‘Deadly’ in the Year 5 and 6 Class as we have embarked upon a Deadly 60 project. Having become experts, we will be writing our own video clips and designing webpages for our chosen animal.
This is Mrs Martin, Mrs Bassett and Mrs Swinhoe, our other Teaching Assistants who help all of us throughout the week
