Friends of Streatley School (FOSS)

FOSS is an active group of parent volunteers who organise lots of fun events for the children, parents and guardians of Streatley School throughout the year. Our main purpose is to have fun and raise money for the school.

How can I get involved?
There are many different ways you can help FOSS, whether you have lots of time to offer or not. If you cannot commit to a big job, look out for things you can do less frequently (e.g. running a stall at the summer fete, baking for a cake sale, etc). Plus you can always support FOSS events by simply turning up.
Please do contact us by email or talk to us.  You can contact the current Chair, Clare Potter by email:
Our Treasurer is Bee Ramachander and our Secretary is Sam France.  The 2014/15 Committee members are Ros Arthur, Ilka Weiss, Emma Hetherton, Heather Miller, Becky Richardson and Adele Payne.  Bev Hanson will continue running the FOSS 100 Club.  We always welcome new members coming on board throughout the year, please talk to any one of us if you are interested.

How is money spent?

Money raised by FOSS is intended to provide ‘extras’ not already met by the school budget – often fun things that add to the provision already in place and make learning more interesting and exciting.  Past purchases have included computers/tablets; Refurbishment of the Library and playground equipment.
