Synopsis of the content of the Road Rangers show

Duration: Approximately 30 minutes,
Age Range: Infants

What is a Road Ranger?
Brief description of what to do when crossing the road.
Importance of adult’s help to cross any road. Cars for roads People for pavements. Seat belts and Child seats.

The Importance of colours
Introduction to the messages they give.
Red – Danger Green – Safe
Stop, Look, Listen

Explained in detail and with actions and pictures.
Jimmy Runs Ahead, the story told to the children. Then follow up questions about what he did wrong and what he should have done right! Troy the boy Puppet tells the Boys and girls what happened to him when he ran off. Once again recapping what you should do to cross the road safely.

Final Reinforcement
Road Rangers poster colored in for the boys and girls.
Key messages & actions rehearsed once more. The whole show is interlinked with puppets and magic to help children
remember the messages.
