Finance Officer (Temporary post) Grade E7-12 (10 hours per week)

Streatley Primary School are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and self-motivated Finance Assistant to join our administration team from July or September 2019 on a one month rolling contract.  This is a key post within the school administering the school’s finances and budgets.  The successful applicant will be enthusiastic, methodical and organised.

We are seeking someone who is:

  • An excellent and experienced Finance Officer
  • Experienced in financial management and control in the education sector
  • Able to multi task and work under pressure
  • A good communicator and team player
  • Competent in use of word, excel and outlook
  • Experienced in using FMS

Clerk to Governors Grade E7-12 (4 hours per week)

Committee meetings 8am -9.30am and FGB meetings 5:30-7pm Thursdays once a term

The Governing Body of Streatley Primary School are seeking to appoint a Clerk to Governors following the recent promotion of our lovely clerk.

You will work closely with the Chair of Governors, Head Teacher and other Governors to ensure that all paperwork and monitoring visits for School Governance are appropriately maintained and carried out.

We are looking for an effective and efficient administrator who will provide:

  • proactive support with agenda setting, including the production of a draft agenda for each meeting; issuing the agenda and all the supporting paperwork;
  • attendance at meetings to take minutes and provide advice on governance issues when required;
  • the preparation, amendment and issuing of the minutes;
  • provide advice to the governing body on governance, constitutional and procedural matters;
  • general administrative support for the governing body;
  • support the clerking of any additional meetings;
  • understand and abide by the confidential nature of the role at all times;
  • be conversant with general IT, as all of the paperwork is sent out via email.
