The Role

Contract: Permanent | Pattern: part-time | Salary: West Berkshire Scales C4 | Closing Date: 2nd March

As our Early Morning Club Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring children feel valued and supported as they arrive at school. You’ll help set the tone for a positive day, providing a safe and engaging space where pupils can relax, connect, and explore their interests before lessons begin.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Encourage children to participate in board games, sparking curiosity and teamwork as they interact with their peers.

  • Lead creative activities such as colouring and crafting, nurturing imagination and self-expression in a calm, welcoming setting.

  • Facilitate friendly competitions in Top Trumps, chess, and ball games, helping pupils develop confidence, resilience, and social skills.

  • Offer attentive care and support, ensuring every child feels included and ready to start their school day with enthusiasm.
