Dental/Doctor/Hospital appointments

Please email office@sps.w-berks.sch.uk with requests to remove pupils for dental/doctor appointments that cannot be made out of school hours.

Diarrhoea and Vomiting

Children with diarrhoea or vomiting should stay away from school until they have not been sick or had diarrhoea for at least 2 days (48 hours). 

Absence Line

Please call the office and select the absence line to report illness giving your child's full name and reason for absence. Vomiting or diarrhoea cases should not return for 48 hours after the last bout of illness. Do not email as the office email is monitored by part-time staff.

Leave during term time

For all other requests, please complete and return the request form below with as much notice as possible. Please note that taking leave during term time without approval may result in fines. Please see the Guide to Penalty Notice leaflet below from West Berkshire Council for more information.
