Behaviour at school

At Streatley Primary School, our values are built on mutual trust and respect for all. We work to ensure that every member of the school community feels valued, and is treated fairly and well.

To achieve this, the school's behaviour policy sets out the way in which all members of the school can live and work together in a safe, happy and secure environment. While we do have three rules, the main aim of the Behaviour Policy isn't about enforcing these. It is about promoting good relationships so that people can work together with the common purpose of helping everyone to learn, and so that students can become positive, responsible and increasingly independent members of the school community. The school rewards healthy and acceptable behaviours, as it believes that this fits well with an ethos of respect and service. We will in the near future be adopting our preferred behaviours policy, this based on therapeutic thinking. We are currently training staff. 18.07.2023
